In these unusual times, looking at one thing at a time, listening to one sound at a time and allowing the experience to resonate continued to be the key mood for Marie-Christine Statz. The urge to connect with ourselves, with what is right in front and with nature is a sensation that the designer felt and found it was shared by her community. This strong feeling of a common intrinsic concentration is translated into the Pre Fall 2021.

The calm, earthy colour palette of beige, greys, rosewood, dusty blue and different shades of khaki is accentuated with pistachio green and candy pink. Tailoring and monochrome suiting are the house’s uniform and clearly visible in the collection while adding a softer tone. The relaxed and cosy attitude of the signature silhouettes is translated in fluid twill and light wool jersey. Rounded shapes, padded jackets, boucle knits and super soft double faced cashmere wool coats, trousers and scarfs reflect the longing for a personal armour in today’s vulnerable state.
