COLLECTION NOTE

The Fall 24 is focusing on modern femininity, with a subversive vision and a less conventional sensibility. Marie-Christine Statz is designing for a woman, that is driven, authentic and determined. She exists without compromise.

The collection is intentionally minimal, focusing on clean-cut tailoring, balancing tension, and harmony for a cut through silhouette. Important to the collection is the 24/7 versatility, formal wear and casual wear combined for a day to evening look. We want the GAUCHERE woman to feel empowered 24/07.

Organic and soft shapes in cashmere and wool are combined with structured suiting in light weight tailoring and faux leather.

Mat and opaque materials are presented next to structures with a certain shine. A super light, technical waterproofed nylon is used for outwear-jackets, coats, and pants. Garments that feature zippers and elastics and have an elevated casual character often presented and mixed with tailoring in the same look.

The black denim this season is inspired by a traditional smoking pants and has a large, darker-shade stripe along both side seams. This is accomplished not by coloring but through a delicate washing technique.

The knitwear pieces show a variety of different yarns and gauges. From a very thin special-rib turtlenecks to a handknit feel cashmere cropped pullover and oversized cardigan.

Light weight ribbed jersey is defined through tank tops, crops and skirts worn as a second skin in beige, sand, purple and green. The GAUCHERE signature styles are made of a technical scuba to embrace the body shape.
